This is a four session Pottery Wheel 2 or 3 course. Each session is two hours, once a week, taught at my studio in Simpsonville in Whitehall Plantation.

Students in Level 2 will learn to throw larger plates, platters, and bowls focusing on centering 2-4Lbs of clay on the wheel. They will also learn how to layer glazes to give them a multi-color effect. Students in Level 3 will learn how to make collections or sets of mugs and bowls focusing on both constructing and glazing their pottery as a cohesive set.

I welcome any students that have taken level 3 already to enroll in this course for continued learning.

The first three sessions will be pottery wheel lessons, and the final session you will be glazing all your handmade pieces.

Classes are taught in tandem two students at a time to one instructor. Ages 10 and up.

Price includes instruction, tools and materials, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Fees include firing up to eight wheel throw pieces. If more than eight are produced, an additional kiln firing fee will be requested. Session dates: September 7, 14, 28, October 5
