Setting The European Table

For as long as I’ve known I’ve always been inspired by European culture , traveling, and languages. I recall being fifteen years old in my high school Italian class and seeing images of Europe and saying to myself , “Soon I will get there”.

Now fast forward to years later, and traveling is engrained into the fabric of who I am and what makes me tick. Within the list of places that I am so blessed to have discovered, Italy and Brazil are at the forefront of my adoration. Brazil itself has such deeply infused Portuguese roots that I found fascinating. Therefore it’s a natural progression that my art, life, and existence would be inspired by European culture.

I discovered the art of Ceramics in college as I leaped toward defining myself as a true artist. Early in my life, I understood art as solely drawing and painting, and closed the chapter on it. Then one day when registering for my junior year classes the only class available in the criteria I needed was ceramics. I was confused, I couldn’t take ceramics! I was a drawing and painting person! People say in life what’s meant to be will find it’s way to you. That’s my love story with three-dimensional art. I took that introductory Ceramics class and never looked back. The world told me that’s where I should be, and I couldn’t believe how natural some of it came to me.

My current collection of handmade ceramics is inspired by what you’d find in a European household. I feed into creating items that will fill your home and table with warmth, love, energy, and uniqueness. Every piece I make starts as a ball of clay and is transformed into functional tableware or adornment for the home. Everything I make is high quality and built to last. I believe that preserving the past and purchasing handmade items of quality should be at the forefront of every culture. I hope you enjoy my handmade ceramics with as much love and passion and I put into creating every single piece.
