Individual Pottery classes and clay Workshops Simpsonville, SC (five forks area)
Make it.
It all begins with a thought. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to make handmade pottery but never carved out the time for yourself, or didn’t have a place to take classes. Maybe you made pottery years ago, and miss it. No matter what your circumstance, I’m here to help you navigate your own pottery journey.
Fire it.
Yay! I made some pottery, now what? The pieces need to dry for many days then they go into their first kiln firing, called a bisque firing. Once that firing is complete, you have some glaze decisions to make!
*In some classes/workshops you will add an underglaze to your freshly made clay pieces before bisque firing.
Glaze it.
Handmade is so hip right now! Who wants something cookie cutter when you can have something handmade. Once your pottery is fired or constructed, you will be able to select from a variety of glaze colors, and you will custom glaze your pottery pieces. When complete, the pieces go into the kiln one final time to be glaze fired, then they are able to be taken home and envied by all!
Finally get to that bucket list!
