This is a 2 hour workshop where students will construct and glaze one medium sized half moon shaped watermelon plate! They will be constructed out of clay, then students will spend time applying their glaze colors to the surface. Note: Students will only be glazing the top “red part” of their plates not the underneath “Green area” (for firing purposes).
Makes a great day fun activity as a date night, girls night, or solo adventure to join in on.
No prior experience is necessary, all levels are welcome. All workshops are taught in my at home studio in Simpsonville and are small group for personal attention.
After pieces are completed, they will need to be dried and fire in the kiln. **Pick up of completed glazed fired pieces will be ready two weeks after the workshop.** Price includes instruction, tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, 6 participants. When fully complete, pieces are both food and dishwasher safe.
