This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Students will be making one handmade sea turtle from a fresh piece of clay using the pinch pot technique. They will then apply texture and patterns to their constructed sea turtles. When finished, students will select their glaze color, and the teacher will glaze their creations using high fire glazes. Projects will then be collected and fired in the kiln. Picked up is two weeks later.
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education with twenty years of teaching experience.
