This is a three session handbuilding 1 course. Handbuilt pottery is pottery made without use of the pottery wheel, using pottery techniques such as press and drape molding. Each session is two hours, once a week, taught at my studio in Simpsonville (Whitehall Plantation). Students will make a four piece tableware set including: Large plate, small plate, small bowl, and mug with handle. The idea of cohesion, and applying personal design to each tableware set will be addressed.

Price includes instruction, tools and materials, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Fees include firing the four tableware pieces. If a student would like to make accent or additional pieces, a small kiln firing fee will be added. 2/17, 2/24, 3/2, 3/9
