This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!

Students will be making one small handmade bowl using clay molds, and the slabbing clay technique. Once constructed each student will apply a splattered glaze design onto the bowl surface using underglaze. Projects will then be collected and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.

This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete. Just keep in mind if you arrive close to 5:00pm, the students may not have a lot of time for their creations.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education with twenty years of teaching experience.
