This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!

Students will be making a set of two small leaf impressed candle holders. They will begin by exploring the various leaf textures, and deciding which leaves they want to use as their clay candle holders. Once complete, students will create two small leaf candle holders and apply autumn inspired underglazes colors to them. Projects will then be collected and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.

This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education with twenty years of teaching experience.
