This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!
Students will be making one medium sized Christmas tree using hand rolled pieces of clay that are then cut into circular (button) shapes. Once the circles are cut and textured, students will then construct their tree, and apply an underglaze color to their finished clay tree. Projects will then be collected and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.
This is a DROP IN class, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately an hour for each student to complete.
About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education with twenty years of teaching experience.
