This is an amazing two hour workshop where students will construct a medium sized tall Cherubini inspired vase. This piece will be made using coiling, a handbuilding which is a process of constructing with clay without use of the pottery wheel.
What to expect: Students will construct a medium sized Cherubini tall vase, approximately 8 inches in height using the coil building process. When complete students will choose their glaze colors and the piece will be glazed by the teacher after bisque firing. See glaze color options in photo #5: Petal pink, Rustic Blue, or Caramel
No prior experience is necessary, all levels are welcome. This workshop is for adults and kids over 12 years old.
After pieces are completed, they will need to be dried and fire in the kiln.
**Pick up of completed glazed fired pieces will be ready 2-3 weeks after the workshop.** Price includes instruction, ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing fees. Workshops are all small group, maximum 7 participants. When fully complete, pieces are functional, and ready to use.
