This is a special drop in clay class for kids (6-13)!

Each student will be making a small bowl using the drape mold method out of a fresh piece of clay, then selecting a color theme, and particular botanical they’d like to glaze onto their bowl surfaces. Students will both construct and glaze their project, same session. When complete, projects will be collected, dried, and fired in the kiln. Picked up is approximately two weeks later.

This is a drop in, so feel free to arrive anytime within the classes time frame, the project will take approximately 1 hours for each student to complete. *Just keep in mind if you arrive to close to 5:00, the student won’t have much time to glaze their projects.

About the instructor: Dianna is a Certified SC K-12 art teacher with her undergraduate degree in Art Education, and Master’s degree in Education, with twenty years of teaching experience. Dianna has worked as a public educator, and is background checked and fingerprinted as per SC Certification.
